I'm a failure as a father!

I'm a failure as a dad! I SCREAMED LIKE A LUNATIC AT MY SON AGAIN and he cried and cried in fear!
I can't get a job or hold a job.
I actually good my 10 year old son I was a loser!!!!!!!! He cried I was not.
BUT I AM!!!!! I KNOW IT WAS WRONG TELLING HIM THAT!
It would be better if his mother just found a new man.
I should just move.
All because he would not do his summer homework. I was nice... extra nice...but he would not do it.
I'M A FOOL.

These are terrible times for many people. I so feel for you. Take your son, embrace him, tell him you are sorry, tell him he has nothing to do with your problems. Next time you feel out of control, leave the room and walk around the block. You can take your boy with you. He will walk with you. Children are all forgiving, loving, and loyal.

Please do not give up on your job search. There are places that help you with resumes and interviews. Wish you the best.

I understand!!! I did things like that before I suffered from anxiety so don't beat yourself up! One incident I yelled at my 6 year old son really bad because he was watching cartoons sitting on the floor and our dog was sitting next to him chewing a hole in the wall to wall carpeting. I totally over reacted and I've felt bad for 12 years about it. The other day I said that I was sorry to my son for that day, he's now 18. He said "Dad, I don't even remember what you're talking about!" All these years I've felt bad and he totally forgot!!

Be nice to yourself! You're a good Dad because you feel bad about it and are on hear talking to people!
