I am currently considering trying the "Attacking Anxiety & Depression" program. To be completely honest, I'm afraid of trying something else and it not working. I desperately need this to work and am willing to give it all I've got to help it do so. The situation I currently find myself in is without hope and I need a program in which I can find some. It would mean a lot if some of you would be willing to share some thoughts on the program, your journey to the program, your progress, etc.
Thank you so much.
Considering the program; would appreciate input.

I think it's a great program. I first got the progam several years ago. The skills that I learned through the program really helped me calm down.
Nothing's perfect. But the structure of the program really helped me.
At first it seemed like a lot to do, and then I started to look forward to taking care of myself.
I hope you find the help you need.

You're so right MC, nothing is perfect and I'd be waiting 'til the cows come home if that's what I'm after. I really appreciate you taking the time to give me your thoughts.

I did the program about fifteen years ago after suffering from generalized anxiety and a few panic attacks. I think my first one was on an airplane coming home from Hawaii and I made a promise to myself that I would never fly again. I have flown many times since then and usually by myself and I did it.
That being said that is why i would highly reccomend the Attacking Anxiety program to you but you have to realize that the more time and effort that you put into it the more you will get out of it. It works if you work it. I listened to the tapes all the time in the morning when I got ready for work, in the afternoon and the evening and I listened to every tape countless times. I also did the relaxation tape every single night and initially I wasn't comfortable with it at all and then eventually I would fall sound asleep just a few minutes into it and would wake up when my cassette player turned off. (yes, I said cassestte....LOL)
