I've been listenning to the CDs for a little over a month now. I was in really bad shape when I saw the infomercial and ordered the program. After the first two weeks or so of listenning to CDs, changing my diet and getting some excercise, it seemed like it all just kicked in. I woke up one morning, anxiety free and ready to tackle the day. Not only could I leave the house after months of shutting myself in, but I actually wanted to leave the house. For about two weeks I felt absolutely phenominal. I did more in those couple weeks than I had done in the previous 6 months. I went places that I never could. It was awsome.
But now, I'm not sure how I'm doing. I feel like I have slid backwards. I'm losing the desire and ambition that had kept me off the couch and doing fun things. Fun? I never thought I could ever have fun!
I don't have any support at home since i'm single and live alone. My coworkers have been very supportive but they don't know how to help really. I don't know how they can help either.
Don't know what I'm looking for by writing this. The answer is pretty obvious. Work the program. I must admit I haven't followed it to the letter.
So, I'm feeling very anxious the last couple days. I'm so afraid I'm goint to fall all the way back to where I was this winter.
Posting this is a test of my anxiety as well. I feel just as anxious on the internet as I do in the real world. I guess I'll just click submit right now...

Re: Losing Momentun
Welcome, Ron, you've come to the right place. There are nice people here to be your support. The program works for many, it's quite remarkable. Be patient with yourself.
Do try to stick with it. Bring up anything you like re the possible sources of your anxiety as you see it only, of course, if you are so inclined. We are here to listen. Glad you are here.

Hi Ron, glad to have you here! I'm so happy for your success so far. Sometimes, our body just reacts to the sudden activity and it needs to recover from the adrenaline and extra exercise it hasn't had for a while. You'll feel better again, the weather just keeps getting better and better as spring shows her pretty self. Plus the added bonus of extra daylight helps as well.

Thanks. I'm feeling like I'm back on an upswing. I've figured out something that was triggering a lot of stress and anxiety and now that I realise that's where it was coming from I'm better able to overcome it with positive self talk. thanks for your encouragement.

Ron, your post cheers me not only because you are back on the upswing, but because you point to what I believe: that there generally are triggers to stress and anxiety. Recognizing them and acknowledging them can go a long way to help the situation and to promote the effectiveness of positive self talk.
Thank you for sharing that with us.
