legs twitching?
legs twitching?
Been under really bad stress over my mom being sick and two days ago my lower legs started this twitching thing that is keeping me up at night. I know because things have been insane that this is probably an anxiety thing but I just want some reassurance that maybe someone else had this and it went away. Its like I can feel "pulsating" in my calves. Its freaking me out.

Re: legs twitching?
This might be a form of Restless Leg Syndrome. Mine started out minor such as feeling my leg muscles contracting. I cold feel them contract and release up and down my legs. It became very annoying and painful in so many words. I use to take an aspirin to deal with the pain, later I took Restoril to calm them down. It got to the point that they were really bad when I suffered from stress and depression and they really were contracting and jumpy. I called them "dancing legs", but Drs didn't quite understand what I was talking about. Finally, the term "Restless Leg Syndrome" was concocted for the symptoms I was having.
Later anti-depressants, such as Zoloft stopped it, but eventually they go worse and now I don't have them because I've weaned myself off of Anti-depressants that seemed to make things worse. I still take Restoril at night to help me sleep and call down panicky feelings or anxiety symptoms. Hope this helps. Paislee
