I just started the pill to help with PMS and moodiness. It's working OK except I'm tired a lot and the last couple days on the inactive pills my anxiety was horrible.

Someone told me to get a Super B complex to take.

I notice it says it 'turns food into energy' and when I hear 'energy' I sometimes worry it means. . . it will make me anxious.

One time I took a B6 on an empty stomach and it made me feel awful. Anyone try the Natures brand B complex with C? Do I need to take it with a meal? Will it cause anxiety or help? :)

Thanks,

Faith, I actually take sublingual B-12. It gives me energy for about 4 hours, helps with mental clarity, and it actually helps calm me to boot. I highly recommend the sublingual type (goes under the tounge) as you can tell the positive impact quickly. the only downside is after the 4 hours I get tired again, but if need be I can take another one

but when it gives you "energy" is it like caffeine where you feel a rush and your heart is racing? That's the feeling I'm trying to avoid.

Hi Faith_TX,
I am taking the Nature brand B complex with C. I have been taking it for about 2 months now & I take it with my lunch. It is better to take it with food because it will stop or should stop the stomach irritation or your upset stomach feeling. I have checked it out on the internet & it says that B complex & vitamin C are both good for anxiety meaning they should be a benefit to people with anxiety. I do think my anxiety is a little better after taking the B complex with C. A little better is better than nothing & it may help me the longer I take I guess only time will tell. If you are still unsure about taking it you can always ask your Dr. for his or her advice.
Good Luck,

no it isn't like caffeine. I am not sure how to explain it other than it is a smooth energy with clarity

Thanks guys! I'm going to try it.

I thought I was over my medication phobia but I guess it's still a little bit there. LOL

Actually part of the reason is I was feeling great on the birth control pill, then I got to the 4 days of inactive and I got the worse PA I'd had in months. It set me back a bit. But it'll be OK! It's just anxiety, right? ;)

I also take a sublingual B complex twice a day. Haven't noticed any anxiety or nervousness from it at all. I have noticed an increase in alertness.

I wanted to mention - The liquid sublingual B does not upset my stomach so I don't have to take it with food.
