i am trying not to let every little thing peeve me off. this is really bad for me. stupid little things are the worst. like my other pea not answering the phone. (when i know good an well he is ignoring me). the fire not lighting in the fireplace. me being cold. having to do the dishes. just life in general. please tell me there is light at the end of the tunnel. i am so incredablely stress right now.
Hi pea. Dena here. I'm in the same boat with you! Spouse driving me nuts, nothing going well & I'm easily irritated today also. Not to mention the migraine I've had since early Friday morning. It will pass. Think positive. Easy to say, harder to do! Ugh! Energy would be nice too! We will be fine, it will just take time. We'll just have to bounce it off each other when we need to vent. Good luck!
thanks i needed that. for some reason i cant join the chat room it will only let me post one thing then i cant post again. i tryed to call the no. but of course to my aggetation it was closed. i wish they had 24 hr support. what if i go crazy. before they open. i am trying to get through session one i just have so many other irons in the fire an my other half is so ocd that if i dont do the things before he comes home we get into a fight and i am tring to avoid this. RRRRRRRRRR! when does the visious cycle ever end
Two Peas, I saw in the chat transcript where you'd posted twice so your computer is setup to access the chatroom and the software is recognizing you which means you should be able to post as many times as you want.
The only other possibilities would be:
1. Your internet service provider limits you on connecting to a chatroom.
2. Your connection to the room isn't holding long enough to make more than a few posts...or
3. Check your firewall/anti virus and make sure the it isn't blocking the chatroom.
Because you did post 2x in the help chatroom we can verify that you do have access into the system.
Here is what you posted in the Help Room awhile ago straight from the chatroom logs:

two peas in a pod: HELLO EVERYONE HOPE THIS WORKS TODAY
2008-11-03 16:15:35.0
two peas in a pod: sorry i am in an out i can only write one thing and then it wont let me write any more
Please check the suggestions above especially the firewall/anti virus one. I personally know Norton's is bad at blocking people at times, used to do it to me until I dumped them on my personal system.

Good morning two pea's. There are many people on this forum that will gladly help you I'm sure. Many of us have felt or feel exactly like you feel right now, it's a very common part of anxiety.
I've been there, I may be an Admin but I'm a person also, and one that has dealt with anxiety to no end until I stopped one day, bought the program, worked it and broke free. You can do it too but it takes work on your part. By facing the fears that you have you'll be able to break free also. If there are several fears then take them on one at a time. Think it as an onion, start with the smallest fear (outside skin of the onion) and peal it off first (face it) then move on to the next fear (layer) and repeat the above. Rinse and Repeat until all the fears have been overcome and one day you suddenly realize that all the fears are gone. This program does work but it takes hard work on your part to accomplish it.
Anyone else with ideas on how to help two pea's please feel free to post your ideas for her. Everyone is welcome to help each other any time.
Here is a fact about this site: There are more people here on the forums day & night than there are in the chatroom. The forum has alot of information contained in it that is permanent. The chatroom info scrolls off within an hour or less.
Now, back to my job as Admin but I do take that skin off once in awhile and talk as one who has dealt with anxiety & depression - me.
Have an excellent day two pea's and I wish you well at work today.

Good Morning. It is very difficult to wade through all the years of stuff we have catalogued into our thinking library. I hope you believe this: you can rewrite the contents of that library! It won't happen over night, and it won't happen in a month. The process is a journey of accumulating new tools, developing skills in catching your own thoughts and behaviors. It is cumulative. I finished the program a few weeks ago. I do plan to begin it again, and rework the entire 15 sessions. Not because I need to, but because I want the reinforcement. I won't tell you it is easy. It is not easy. It takes a lifetime to get so messed up we need a program like this. Just stay with the program. Do something in your session work every day. Again, the process is cumulative. Think of all the things you do that don't work. Eventually, you will recognize you've begun to do things that do work. That will be your measure of progress. Kind Regards to you.
Two peas. Well, the good thing is that you have this forum here. Sometimes it helps me just to write out here in a forum (or on paper if that's all that's available) what my issues are even if there's isn't anyone at the other end of the phone line.. or her in the forum... replying immediately. Basically *I* just need to talk... so at least you have that much. It can help to vent.
I say BREATHE and EXHALE when you are stressed. Try the "self talk" routine...talk to yourself in your head and tell yourself that you know that this moment in time will pass. Tell yourself you are okay and that these daily routines are common for most people, hence you are not alone. Most people feel alone and they think they are the only ones that feel the way they feel.
Let yourself relax everyday by walking outside, take a bubble bathe and soak, watch something funny on tv and LAUGH OUTLOUD...lol.. Do something for YOU! Even if it is just 15 minutes at first.
Stress is an energy sucker and it can ruin us emotionally and physically.
I know how you feel. I have many stresses every single day of my life and now I just get my favorite tea, sit outside for awhile(10-15 min)watching the birds, clouds and breathing the fresh air. I try to refocus my thoughts to good one's and look forward to something I will be doing for myself or someone else later that day. I make myself smile somehow w/ some silly thought and I laugh outloud now.
Read my profile to see what I have been through and it may help you to see things in a new light.
My life is tough. But I am sure that I am not alone anymore.
This program is helping me overcome so much you would be shocked if you knew me personally. My husband is noticing and respecting me moreso as well. I am very happy for myself and for him. We both deserve to be happy and I am working hard on ME every day.
Noone else can make me happy or less stressed, only I. I am my own best friend now and I actually love who I am today!
Sure I have bad days where I am moody, stressed or just sad about things, but that is life. I am no longer running from anything and it is so rewarding to say the least.
I hope I have helped somehow because I really want to rub off on people that are just like me in some ways.
Big Supportive Hugs,
Ancilee Kaye
