Yes i used to get this feeling at night all the time. I wouldn't go to sleep if everyone else was sleeping in fear of dying if i closed my eyes and no one would be around to notice so i would wait until the sun came up and someone would wake up and then i went to sleep and would sleep almost all day and then oh no its night again!! I hated when it got dark out! I still get that feeling sometimes but now i know what it is and how to manage it. You are not alone in this and i think you are doing so great already! Once you finish the program you will have all the skills you need to live a successful and happy life!

Hi Bea, I started having my anxiety and panic after having my baby as well. I am 45 but had my daughter when I was 16. Night time was horrible for me as well. That seemed to be the time when everything calmed down and I had the time to panic. If you haven't already, I would see your OBGYN to make sure that your hormone levels are normal. Having a baby is one of the hardest things that the female body can go through. I have always used self talk and now I sleep fine unless there has been some type of stress way outside the normal. I would try something positive before bed like a calming bath with lavender, reading something positive, and certainly use your positive self talk. Remember you have a beautiful life that is waiting for you. As you lay in bed, think of things that you enjoy. I really like gardening and I plan new gardens in my mind. Sometimes I even dream about them. Stay with the program but don't dismiss your doctor and if he/she doesn't give you the support you need, find a new one. I hope you have much success and happiness in the future. Always remember that this doesn't have to be permanent. If you do the work you can be just fine.

I have been scared at night as well. I used to love night time for relazation but now it's hard. So I listen to soft Christian music with no words and have a night light I know it sounds silly but it's helping me I'm not sleeping good much but it's taking the fear away bc I'm focusing on Jesus.
