August class?

I haven't been in the forums too long, can someone explain what the August class is. Is it a monthly class, can anyone join? Suzzie

The August class is the people that started Lucindas program in August 2008. The idea is that the August class can go through the program somewhat together. Click on New User Peer Support at the top in orange and you will see.

Suzzie, I think your are the July group. I began on June 12, and my peer support group is the month of June, 2008.

Hi, my name is Shelby and I'm fairly new to this. Although I purchased Lucinda's program yearrrrrs ago before CD's were out (several moves over several years and I lost the program and had to purchase it again). I never finished the program the first time. My panic went away, my life went on.

I'm having a horrid day thus far and trying not to run away from all that I am feeling. I did some journaling this morning that brought all of this muck to the surface for me and it's all I can do to stop this choking feeling and the constant trips to the bathroom right now.

I'm on Session #2 and I've been on it for 2 weeks now, with really no hope in sight of moving past it, since I can't seem to get it right......

My hands are shaking so badly right now. Oy.

I keep telling myself "float, don't fight"...and I am searching my mind for positive affirmations but all I can think of is "it's gonna be okay...it's gonna be okay..." and then "sshhhh, babygirl....just breathe".

I don't have anyone to talk to about this....and have limited time here online so...

hi shelby im sorry to hear about your bad feelings at the minute. i am also struggling with some of the same symptoms. i started the programme but didnt finish it last year. this was because i started to feel better. i rushed things. i am going to finish it through this time and take my time. try and do what you can each week and then some times refer back to a session. dont put yourself through to much pressure. it can be very overwhelming to start. be kind to yourself and dont stress about it because it is there to stop you from doing that. keep in touch with people on here as i find this helps a lot. just knowing there are others feeling the same. it can make you less fearful of your feelings. take care and let us know how you are doing.

Please hang in there Shelby. I'm just beginning my second week and can relate to some of what you are saying. But I also know that, with something like this, it feels like it gets worse before it gets better. Our awareness is heightened.

Perhaps you're trying too hard and that's why you are stuck on Session 2 for 2 weeks now. You can always go back to it later. If you have "no hope in sight" then you aren't trusting the program and the process. If the program has been in existence for over 20 years, and has been improved 7 or 8 times to the current version, it MUST work. Trust that and move on.
