ive been out of work for a month now and im spose to go back to work tomo. i really dont want to im so nervous. its a part time job so its only 4 hours. i just recently went on a trip upstate 3 hours away for my brothers wedding and i did great even tho my parents drove i still did good. im just nervous bout going back. its 20 minutes away i no thats not so far but i wish it was closer. and help or advice would be great thanks
Hey- Congratulations on going to your brother's wedding and being in the car with your parents and all that brings. WhooHOoo!!! You did a good one.
I'm sure you are nervous about work because you are out of the habit of going. But- look at the great opportunity you have to continue on your achievements. 4 hours, smour hours, you can do it. While you are busy doing this job, can you look for one closer?

20 minutes is not too long... I would suggest making a CD with your favourite songs to listen to on the drive
Have fun with it sing along, dance in your set but pay attention to the road
After 4 or 5 songs you are there!
When I went back to work after not working for 9 months I was extremely nervous... but I went in, and constantly found things to distract myself from my anxiety (which wasnt hard because im a waitress)all in all it was a good shift. I have good and bad days at work. We all do. Try changing your thought pattern a little instead of saying you really dont want to because you are so nervous, say you want to make some money and you're not gonna let your anxiety get in the way of it. Get excited to work... I know work kinda sucks sometimes. But you can do it
try to stay positivee. You will get through it.
