Vision issues with anxiety/panic attacks please share
I have a lot of vision issues, just within the past couple years associated with what I believe is caused by my anxiety. It all started with 2 panic attacks, one where it felt like I had no control over my eye movements...like they couldn't decide where they wanted to look. The other time I was driving and started feeling light headed and my vision started to fade and got distorted, then came the full blown attack. Also, during these times I almost feel like I'm going to slip into a coma because of the extreme fatigue feeling. I have had eye checks, an MRI, blood tests all normal. Right now my anxiety is at it's extreme and I'm having a lot of vision issues, like grainy vision on and off and that fading feeling. Can anyone else share their vision issues, I'd like to know if anyone has similar symptoms.

Hello, Just wanted to respond to your comment. I also have vision issues, for the past 3yrs it's gotten worse, especially when my anxiety is extremely high, like now. I've had eye exams, my doctor told me I do have some vision loss, unsure why, he sent me to have a CT & MRI, he thought I may have had a pituitary tumor, but everything came back negative, including my blood work. I also suffer from alot of head heaviness, lightheaded, unbalanced, dizzy, disorriented, out of sorts, and many other symptoms. I constantly feel there's something doctors are missing, until recently I'm beginning to realize this is all due to anxiety, therefore, I need to accept it, and find a way to get control of it. I don't know if this was helpful, but I do hope you continue to find answers like myself, I know there's help for us. Blessings!

kellyz,
I am new to all this. I just ordered the Anxiety package from Lucenda and I have been looking for some forums that I can relate to. Then I cam across yours. I too have been having problems with my vision. At first I thought it was the Xanax I was prescribed by my Dr. making me faint and tired, but when I din't take my medicine I felt the same way. I too have the feeling of falling into a coma or passing out while driving at times and it drives me insane. I have all my blood work drawn up, all normal, and I feel like I am in the same boat you are in. I have not had an eye exam in well over 2 years and I think this weekend I will get a new pair of glasses and prescription just to ease my mind on if this is anxiety related. I know what you are going through, so if you ever need someone to talk to or just some advise please feel free to contact me about anything. My e-mail address is rmad9812@hotmail.com. I am not a weirdo or a physco, just someone going through the same things you are and would very much like you be in contact with someone who is dealing with the same issues I am. Hope you get to feeling well, and just remember your not alone.
