I thought it might be a good idea to share some of my recent progress for all the new people to our group.I'm a 32 male who had suffered silently with anxiety/depression for most of my life I finished the program 12/08 I can tell all you new people stick it out you can do it i promise once you see the other side you will never go bsck I'm I anxiety free? no that's not realistic but I have a whole arsenal of skills to deal with the blue days I have not had a panic attack for months and In fact I was at dinner last night and felt some old feeling I excuse myself went into the bathroom and did the relaxtion technique and went back to enjoy my dinner.Ask yourself what are getting from staying like this? anyone feel free to contact me privately if you feel more comfortable I want everyone who suffers from this to now that there is a way out and Lucinda's got it Stay in the fight and instead of looking up at the peak take time to look how far you already came!

Lionsfan44, I LOVED reading your post!! I believe that everyone should share their "triumph" stories..to give encouragement to those that are making their way through this program. The wonderful thing about it, is that we've had it inside us all along, we just needed
the "tools" to do it. God bless you and keep you. Take care of yourself and CONGRATULATIONS :D :D :D

Blessings,
Robin

Thanks Lionsfan for sharing your story of success. I have a hard time w/ going out to eat. I have never thought about doing the relexation technique to calm myself down when I'm out. I will remember this and give it a try :)

Wonderful, I can't wait to have that same victory. I feel it to be close, I really do.

Did you begin meds when you started the program? pinkee
