I am feeling so crappy right now, it is not even funny. To start with my oldest daughter is getting married on Saturday so am busy with wedding preparations and such, then stupid me decided that we needed to give our house a home makeover before the big event, this included new flooring, gutting the main bathroom, paint overall, etc.
I was 17 when I had my oldest, so she and I grew up together, and it has just hit me that she is now going to be married and gone and I am so depressed.
Not to mention, with the renos and all I am hurting physically from all the work and then it causes me anxiety. I keep telling myself that "this too shall pass" but with the aches and pains it is hard to think outside of that.
I am a royal mess.
Thanks for listening.

In Pain and Stressed
Bink so sorry your feeling so overwhelmed.....that is a lot to take on. But you have come so far so might as well stay the course right?! It will all be beautiful in the end!
Dont be sad your daughter is marrying and moving on in life you have always been a part of eachothers lives you will continue to be a part of eachothers life....this is the beginning of a new fun era in your lives....Think of all that youll have in common now!
For the aches and pains well you know youve been working hard....so give yourself the little extra things you need to feel better....maybe a soak in a warm tub a massage, some over the counter pain pills......be good to you.....
Dont let your aches and pains scare you you know they are directly from all the renovations and that you will feel better when your not working so hard.
Make sure you take time to smell the roses.....this will be a time you wont want to forget...your little girl is getting married.....enjoy this time dont busy it up with all the to do stuff......
Deep breath and Congratulations on the wedding...its gonna be fantastic.

Congratulations on your daughter's wedding, binkyboo!
I know it's easy to say, but try to look at the positives here... Your family is growing - you're gaining a son and not losing a daughter! Your home will be improved, and not just for the wedding but after, so you've increased your equity! And the aches and pains will indeed pass, as will your stress of the wedding.
Best of luck with those renos and enjoy the wedding on Saturday! And may you and yours always be surrounded with Love, Light & Laughter!
