Hi there,
I recently got the entire anxiety and depression kit from a family member. For the past year I've had extremely bad symtoms. Each day I wake up and I feel foggy, dizzy, and overwhelmed. It gets progressively worse throughout the day. I'm always convinced it's a neurological issue, but everyone tells me it's just anxiety. Does anyone else feel like this every day? I feel like I'm the only one. Any tips on how to get out of this so that my day isn't consumed with this awful feeling? Please help!!!
Please help me
Its a very good thing that you have the program! I am not sure if I have the same exact feeling but mine is a very dizzy feeling like I am going to fall and it is mainly on my left side of my head. I feel it throughout my body but it makes me nauseas as well. It is a VERY scary feeling and I am scared that I am going to pass out from it or have something else happen. I went to the doctors and she did a blood test and a couple other simple tests and said its nothing more than an inner ear problem. Begin using the program and you will probably start to feel much better. I hope this helped some.

Hi Adila83,
It's likely just anxiety and maybe depression also but if you havn't seen a doctor regarding these symptoms I would strongly advise you to be checked out to be sure.
Start the program in the meantime, it can only help and also you may even find once you listen to the tapes/cd's/dvd's that you see a connection from others and how you feel yourself. The program is excellent when used properly.
God Bless, Hope you feel better very soon.

First off hugs to you Adila83. You are truly not alone with the symptoms you described. I used to think no one but me knew how bad I felt and how scary it was. I still wake up feeling out of sorts and usually always have a negative thought/thoughts on my mind first thing after I wake up. I am finding out that caffeine is a whole lot of my problem as well as learned behavior. My Mother also experienced alot of my symptoms and was also an Agoraphobic like I am. I also have quite a few relatives on my Mother's side that have various mental disorders. I have been watching the amount of iced tea and pepsi I drink and have noticed a big decrease in the amount and intensity of the anxiety I am having now compared to about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I would have panic attacks 3 or 4 a day on average (with some days even more) that were awful, scary, and hard to get under control, where now they have tapered off to one or two a day and so far I have been able to stop them before they skyrocketed out of control. I am on lesson 5 right now and am taking my time with the program. I bought mine back in '98 and only got as far as lesson 6. I tried once again in 2001 but again stopped after getting to lesson 3. I am bound and determined to see it all the way through this time. I hope the old saying "3's a charm" really holds true. I don't know if the program is helping me or not but I can say I have found numerous tips and eye opening advice that has changed the way I am feeling. Take it day by day and really pour yourself into the words in the workbook as well as listening to the tapes with total concentration. I have to shut myself up in my bedroom and be totally alone before I can totally get it. Good luck and please know we are all in the same boat in one way or another and are here for each other.
God bless,
Susan

Hi Adila83,
I get overwhelmed so easily. I am in know way diagnosing you I just need to tell you what causes me to be overwhelmed & foggy too. I have had fibromyalgia for 8 years and when I overdue physically or especially mentally I feel completely overwhemled & foggy. Sometimes even when I don't overdue I still get these symptoms, but I'm finally getting control of my limits. Especially from Lucinda's program. Is there something making you feel overwhelmed or things you are pushing yourself at that my be the cause? I know my depression & anxiety before I started the progam, truly overwhelmed me along with my fibromyalgia. I don't know if this will help, but please know you don't have to face it alone. There are many very helpful people on this site who although are fighting their own fight they are so willing to listen and help you.

Hi Adila.
Definitely not alone! I could have written your post! I feel that same way---everyday I wake up and I feel dizzy and foggy and lightheaded. I know it is anxiety. I can actually feel the anxiety now. It goes away when I don't think about it. I, too, also worry that I have a neurological disorder, but I am working through this. My biggest fear is passing out, as I often feel when I get these "waves" that that is exactly what is going to happen. I have not! Deep breathing helps. Good luck and if you need more help, please feel free to keep posting!
