I have tried everything and i just dont know what to do. I am on medication I tried ect treaments. go to a therapist every week and a phyciatrist once a month. I cannot control my fears and anxiety. I CANNOT SEEM TO FOCUS OR REMEMBER THINGS. Am i going crazy? This has been going on for a year and a half. It is destroying my family? Please someone tell me what to do.
hi my name is tim i know how you feel all i can say is it does get better i have been dealing with this for 3 years my stomach and thinking im going to have a heart attack but what i finally relized is the more i focuss on something the worse it gets so i focus on something else and the symtoms get less therefore i know its just anxiety and i feel much better
1) Please read the other topic I have made. In particular the first post. It can be found here:

2)Take it easy on yourself. You are only human and humans "normally" make mistakes many times. We can't always pick on our mistakes and try to analyze them.
3) You are not going crazy. The reason why you can't focus or not be able to remember things easily, is your anxiety and stress have taken more than 90% of your focus.
What you need to know is if for the past 1.5 years or even for the past month you have felt you are going crazy and you havn't by now then the chances are you are not going crazy my friend
Besides it doesn't quite work that way. People don't die or go crazy by thinking about it or else I would be going crazy a few times a day.
Try to get yourself busy with something and give yourself less time to "think". It is the think time that is getting the better of you at the moment.
Also at times medications can intensify anxiety, you can check this with the doctor but whatever you do, DO NOT come off medication all of a sudden. If you and the doctor both agree that it is the wrong medication then come off it step by step.
Hope that helps.
