My issue is: For the past 5-6 months I've been on cloud 9 and using the program although I didn't feel I needed it since I was in my routine and doing wonderful things... I relapsed and had panicky feelings in November of 2007, when I got the program on Febuary 2008, I had a change in mindset... Maybe b/c I've always been an optimist, the program was and is for me... I love the self-empowerment thinking... I stopped on CD 5 strategically as a way to at least have something to look forward to if I ever were to relapse... To be prepared is a person with anxiety's best strategy... So I may listen to CD's 6-10 and hold off on 11-15 for the next time I am going through a "transition" as I like to call it...

Long story short, I relied and depended on exercise (particularly bodybuilding) to cope.... I then became paranoid of my long-term health (joints from wear n tear)... Well, I took a 5-6 month period of time to do nothing but physical therapy exercises, stretching, yoga, cardio, etc... My body improved in flexibility and function.. My body felt opened up and very healthy... After my 1st 2 years of bodybuilding 2005-2007, I lifted extremely intense with heavy weights etc... Well, being 28 now, going on 29 August 15th, I feel that whatever damage I may have incurred from those 2-3 years of heavy lifting and overtraining, I am at a young enough age (I would think) to reverse and almost mitigate what I did when I was younger... Additionally, my track record over those years (when I used bodybuilding as a coping method for my anxiety), I competed in 6 shows placing 5th, 4th, 1st, 4th, 5th and 2nd.... THIS year, my training was drastically different... I trained SMARTER and posed better on stage and focused more on being RIPPED than BIG... More cardio, less heavy lifting, my lifting was mainly with light-moderate weight, executing good form, only lifting weights 2-4 days/week and doing cardio 4-5 days per week.... I felt better etc etc... But 14-weeks later, and having done 5 shows!!!! Of which, I placed 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd and 1st!!!!!! I am having feelings of joint health paranoia... But with just cause... Both of my knees catch 4-5 times before popping when I extend and flex while seated... I have flat feet and perhaps this over-pronating from having flat feet is catching up to me... So I made an appointment today to look into getting Customized orthodics... I'm at a cross-road of stopping training to let my body heal OR continuing training for 3 more shows (Nov 15th last show), then taking a 5-6 month break to let my body heal, recover etc.... I'm not sure what to do, but I will make a decision on this soon hopefully....

On 1 hand, I can let me body heal and begin the program again and learn and grow more...

OR

I can train for 3 more shows, of which I have done very well this year, get my face out there and perhaps land an opportunity (magazine, etc)... Also, I havent reached my main goal which was to turn pro as a Natural...

OR I could take a break now, and maybe pick up training next year or later this year... I'm shooting for a show Sept 13th (this one is for magazine exposure), but the show of which I can turn pro is on Nov 1... I'm thinking of maybe bypassing this Sept 13th show and taking a 6-week break, then training 6-weeks for the Nov 1 show...

Just not sure right now.... I'm worried about my knees and if I have some loose bodies, or a torn meniscus I dont even know i have... Either way, i need to know before I proceed with a decision...

You should talk to Cuco, one of the members of the program. He too is a body builder and trainer. He could probably give you some insight into what lies ahead as he is 36 I believe.

For me, not being a body builder, all I can tell you is I would make sure my body is healed. As long as we have our health, we have life. Nothing can be more important than that.

Whats up man? I wanted to contact you to get to know what you do to keep your mind occupied with positive and uplifting thoughts? It seems that after 14-weeks of training and competing in 5 shows, placing 1st in 4 and 2nd in 1, I am going through a low-point right now.. I find that after great times, low times follow for some reason... In other words, once you get so high, there is no place to go but down... I'm kind of soul-searching right now... I want to compete in 2-3 more shows, but im having feelings of being overtrained.. In other words, im going through the motions right now.... And i dont like it one bit... Get back at me and we can talk some...
