HI,

I AM WORKING ON MY FIRST WEEK AND AM STUCK ON WATCHING THE COACHING TAPE RE: ANGER. LAST NIGHT I GOT ANGRY AT MY HUSBAND OVER APPLE COBBLER AND STORMED OUT OF THE RESTAURANT ANGRY, ANXIOUS AND NEEDED TO GET HOME ASAP!!! I NEVER MENTIONED IT AGAIN-TOOK A TIME OUT. HE LEFT THIS MORNING AND WE WERE VERY QUIET. I AM WORRYING ABOUT IT NOW. I DO NOT WANT TO OBSESS ON THIS ALL DAY. I FEEL LIKE A BAD WIFE.

Ogie I also have to work on my anger. We are learning from the program how to become more assertive and sometimes we come across angry or abrupt. Maybe other things led up to you getting upset yesterday with your husband over the cobbler. You are working on this and trying so please don't obsess over this. You are not a bad wife, you are doing the program and reaching out for help so pat yourself on the back for that. Today is a new day and things are going to be okay. Talk to yourself positively and if you feel like you were a little hard on your husband just tell if you are sorry about last night and let it go at that. Sometimes things just build up and one little thing will upset us, try listening to the relaxation cd also it will help!! Good Luck and have a Great Day!!
