Ok so the reason I get most of my anxiety attacks are because Im scared Im going to pass out. They all really started when i was 14 and almost passed out in Walmart noone really knew what had happened they just figured it was stress. So since then anytime i go into a store like that I struggle with my anxiety becauase I m scared its going to happen again. Then in Gym one day it happened again after running the mile run so now when I excersize again I struggle with anxiety. Now the most receent tsime was at work and it was embarresig so now Ive been jobless and scared to go back to work because of all this!!! I know it sounds ridiculess but its like Im traumatized after these events! Can Anyone relate and give advice?????
sBa, I really feel for you because I know how scary that feeling is. If you have the program, focus on lesson 2 this week. Use the six steps for Any acceleration in your breathing or emotions. If you finally believe that controlled breathing "fixes" this sensation, you will have come a long way toward defeating this condition.
Wishing you well, Carolyn

Hello!I have the same problem. This is why I also get attacks.I've had stuff like that happen years ago too and can't seem to let it go.I also avoided going places because of this.I started going places again but it still can be a struggle.I'm working on it.Sometimes like the last couple of days this fear really takes over me and ruins my whole day.I do have to say that trusting in God fully will give you a lot of relief.I slipped back on this and started letting the fear take over and I'm back to struggling.I plain on getting right back in to trusting God and learning His Word. You're not alone.I know exactly how you feel. It's awful to go through but just remember if you keep pushing forward there's a way out.We really don't have live in fear.I'll pray for you!Take care and PM if you want.
I can also relate to this! I have had a fear of passing out for I can't even tell you how long. I have never actually passed out but that "near faint" feeling has whooshed over me several times in my life and it is very hard to get over! Don't let it overtake you..feel the fears and push through them and know that you will be okay. I am getting married in less then a week and my biggest fear is that I am going to pass out. I have to remember to just concentrate on my breathing....try to relax. You are so young to let this ruin your life....get involved with this program now and learn these coping mechanisms and know you can become a success story as your life goes on. Stay positive!!
