When I first started I would get more anxious when I listened to it because I thought, "oh I just wanna get better hurry up!" I then remembered that Lucinda said that you would probably be more anxious when you started it but it would go away. Boy has it ever! I listen about 2 times a day, once in the day and once or twice before I go to bed. I really feel the difference. I can identify with the relaxation feeling better when Im in a jam. When Im actually listening to it I feel like Im going to fall asleep it feels so good! For those having trouble keep listening! Dont try to do everything perfectly, do it at your own pace and use your own technique if you have to. Stick with it though and the anxiety you thought when you knew you had to do it will melt away and excitement will come forth knowing that this is your own time. Good luck!

I agree with you, Jocie. It's an amazing tool. Especially when Lucinda says: I am calm. I am relaxed. My mind is quiet now. Very powerful and soothing stuff.

Plus when you train your body to relax this way you can actually relax it on command.

Many people have problems listening to relaxation tapes when they first begin. I know I did. I couldn't concentrate at all but, little by little, bits and pieces of the tapes started relaxing me. In time, I could listen to the entire tape and relax. I now not only listen to this tape, but many others that I have bought or found on the Internet. Many of them are excellent. I am now delving a bit into meditation techniques and I am still having a struggle, but in time I think that this will help as well. Good luck to everyone on obtaining complete relaxation - just don't play the tape in the car while driving. :)
Rob.
