Hello Everyone,
Just stopping in late after traveling all evening and still trying to unwind.
So, I had a good day, no anxiety per se, but still upset because I get these pains in my clavicle region, not so much my neck but to the left and right, I am sure I really don't need to explain that! lol.
I am not sure why I have them, it could be muscular or it could be stress. I have a lot of big meetings this week and it will be my first time at a lot of these.
I have traveled to Texas for these meetings and did sit in coach for 5+ hrs. An hour delay while they replaced the captains chair in the pit didn't help any!
I just want to know why I have to have these pains. As I have said in many other posts I have been medically cleared of everything else and I know if I took a pill they would all go away and that annoys me. I am trying not to be dependent on pills.
My wife says I probably am stressed. It started today when I saw the flight was initially delayed and then delayed again and then delayed when we got on board.
So, it is stress, but why must we feel it?? I hate it.
Does anyone else get this pain that can relate? This one has only been on going for about a month, I think I pulled something lifting a heavy generator and let me tell you, once I have an injury it seems my stress/anxiety goes right to it.
Well, thanks for listening, I really should just go to sleep and forget about it, but I always have trbl my first night sleeping in a hotel.
Talk to you all soon.
Why Must We Feel Pain??
I don't know if this is really true or not...but a book that my girlfriend lent me says that all of our physical symptoms stem from emotional problems so that each area or our body is affected by different emotions.
I looked up the area where your pain is and it says that this area is related to worrying about what others may think of you and of difficulty is saying no. It's forcing your body to do things that your mind doesn't want to do and the stress attached to questionning whether or not you'll be up to par to others that surround you.
As I said, I'm no psychologist but the findings in this book are quite interesting and most of the time, my physical pains are right on the money with the description given.
Hope you will be feeling better asap.

If we never felt pain, we wouldn't appreciate feeling good. That's my way of thinking...and when I took Chakra Meditation, it was the same logic she had as well...as well as Ghandi. Not saying it makes it right, but to me, it makes sense. You can't appreciate the highs w/o having the lows. Think of it as a test...a test to remind you how strong you really are.
After reading what you've been going through the past week or so...I would have been more shocked if you didn't feel pain haha. It will go away...just try and relax. Have your wife give you a massage
