At night when I am trying to sleep I feel like I am still awake but only hearing the background noise. I can't fully get to sleep and so when I wake up in the morning I feel as though I haven't slept. Is this anxiety? Then in the morning I start off anxious because I am so tired. During the days I have felt like I can't relax and am always on the edge which I know is anxiety and I do the journaling and everthing and I stil am anxious. I haven't got out the relaxation tape though lately. I am back at work now and it is the fisrt day back in a week and a half due to the weather here. But I am hoping that I am going to feel better now that I have more to concentrate on instead of being stuck in the house from the snow. I loved spending the time with my son and fiance but we all need a break :) Does anyone else experience the sleeping problem and what did you do?

I sleep like that when my husband isn't home. I feel the need to be alert. However, when he is home I am able to let it all go and sleep soundly. Perhaps there is something at night that you feel the need to guard against? Are there other times or other places where you are able to sleep deeply?

The one thing that I think might be the problem is that my 7 month old sleeps with me and so I am weary of him and where he is at. So other than that I have times where I can deeply sleep.
