Does anxiety affect your memory? Like things you have to do, slip your mind? IE: I was to turn off slow cooker this am before i left for work. forgot as i was up sick at 5 am, so it didn't even dawn on me I had put it on the night before. I am at lunch at work and "click" it popped in my head. I rush all the way home, feeling like i could have a heart attack any minute...to un plug it

If i don't make a note or set my cell phone alarm or alarm on email i just don't remember all the things i need to.

Heck, I do that all the time. I have notes everywhere. This is mentioned in one of the sessions(which one?) about not being in the present and being preoccupied with things in the future etc. My focus on anything goes right out the window if there's too much anxiety circulating.

I try to be preventative but thats the need to control my surroundings so even with the lists comes a sense of guilt know what i mean?
