Not Appreciating The Precious Present Moment?

Do you ever do this? Last week we were out having a picnic in the park, it was a nice sunny day, my son loved it, But at the time I never thought anything off it, but looking back now it was so nice. Its made me realise that we need to appeciate every moment in life, at the time it you maybe think nothing off it, but looking back you appreciate it.

I certainly have this problem. I've always said that I'm not a very observant person, but that is because I have a tough time being in the present moment. Hard to notice things when you are living in the past or the future.

I'm learning to do better.
