Does anyone else feel afraid to get physical activity? I know I need it, but the fear is still there. I don't like to get my heartrate up. Any suggestions?

If exercise is troublesome for you, can you get some very light weights and try some muscle toning with breathing. Just go real slow and controlled and breath out when your using your muscle and exhale when you are releasing it. Again go very light even cans of soup for weights would be o.k to start. Hope this was not a frightening answer for you.

Hi. I get a fraid a lot but I know it is the best thing for me to do so what I am doing this time is starting out slowly and gradually building up over time. Sorry it feels frightening to you, I totally understand.

I usually feel more anxious if I get a lot of exercise and haven't in a long time. This time I'm going to get fit and stay fit.

Best to you!

I know exactly what you mean...I had that problem so i bought a heart rate monitor and stayed within my zone. I also bought a treadmill and started just by walking. A year later I am running and jump roping. You just have to slowly get there. It will happen be patient with yourself.

I don't like my heart to get up and not being able to breathe. It's terrifying to me.

Hello Alli,

I know exactly what you are talking about. But the exercise is good and it will ellievate the anxiety and adrenaline. Go with a friend to the gym and monitor your hear and stay within the range that fells good for you also. Don't get obsessed over it to. check it every 5min. Even if you only do 15min. Start with a lite walk and then add the ramp to an incline and then as you fell that safety. You can increase the speed. Let me know how you do. Also God bless!

Tony
