I want to get off xanax. Is it hard?
I find it's hard to lose the weight I want to lose. Besides, I don't want to be dependent on the drug. However, I don't want to be a nervous wreck either. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Getting off Xanax?
Hi I personally havn't been on Zanax was on lorazepam for my anxiety attacks then paxil. I understand how you feel about taking drugs so that is why I replied. I have gone off meds a few times and back on different meds. I am now off all meds and hope to be able to stay off. You may have already searched the web for helpfull info but if not here is at least one link www.xanax.com where you may find some answers but feel you should talk to your Doctor before changing or dropping meds. Just my thought.
I wish you so much good luck if you do stop the Zanax. It's a major accomplishment for many.

That's what I thought to but, If you cut back a little at a time slowly you realize you can do without Xanax. I found if you use the tools you are learning and will power. If you have trouble sleeping or falling asleep Valerian Root which I have taken annd it does help I think Xanax mask any body aches or tooth and I think its best to get off as soon as possible because it likes to control your life.
