HEEELP! Where do i start?
Hi! I own the program and I’ve started it a million times but always end up falling out of it by week 5. I suffer from bouts of serious depression and I’ve been an undiagnosed agoraphobic for the past 5 1/2 years and because of my anxiety about leaving the house I haven’t been able to get help for it. In January I went through a very traumatic experience and was ‘forced’ out of the house. After getting through it and realizing just how strong I am, I had a spark of motivation to get out and get some professional help. Unfortunately I haven’t done anything yet. I don’t really know what to do. That’s where I need a little bit of help. I don’t have a doctor of any kind at the moment. I could use some suggestions on where to start, what kind of doctor(s) to look for, what to expect, etc. If someone could give me some advice on what I should do first, I would appreciate it so much =) Thanks.

It sounds like you are on the right track! We all have similar problems but different personalities. Your personality (I hope this doesn't comes across as judgemental - I don't mean it that way) is such that you need external motivation. You have the desire internally to get over your fears and depression, but at least for right now - you need external help. Maybe that is why this program hasn't worked for you yet past session 5...you really have to self-motivate to complete it! I don't know what kind of doctor to recommend, but you could call StressCenter and speak to someone there - I am sure they could make some very helpful and appropriate suggestions.
