Anxiety after surgery, anyone else???

Hi,
I recently had a hysterectomy, still have an ovary, sorry fellas, and since the surgery, my anxiety, of which I had conquered has come back with different symptoms and very intense. I would be interested to know if other women have had a similar experience, could it be hormones??? I don't have it all the time, but it come out of the blue, so different than I am used to, that I didn't think it was anxiety and maybe I was getting sick, but I don't think so..

it could totally be hormones. Only your Dr can tell you for sure. You will probably have to go and have bloodwork drawn to make sure. I am getting in the peri-menopausal stage and found that out thru bloodwork and also that my thyroid was wacky. Our bodies are amazing! But scary till we know for sure what is making it do what it does.
