Has anyone found relief from chronic headaches and the accompanying dizziness that comes along with them?
Often throughout the day I get terrible headaches out of nowhere (as far as I can tell there is no stress trigger) and they are so awful that the dizziness I deal with the majority of the day gets even worse and I feel totally incapacitated and afraid.
I'm wondering if chronic tension stemming from the panic/anxiety I've had the last 4 years has the ability to actually create dizziness and an off balance feeling in my body.
I notice that when I work out, during changes in movement and from working out to cooling down, I get extremely dizzy and then feel a jolt of anxiety. When I turn my head certain ways I also feel dizzy.
I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this. I'm debating seeing a dr about it, but I've been through so many health tests the past few years I am hesitant to put myself through it again to be told I'm fine. But I just notice all the time that the back of my neck is sore to the point of pain and the dizziness is out of control.
I don't hyperventilate and my breathing techniques are fine - so I know that isn't the cause of my dizziness.
Sorry to ramble on here - just didn't know if anyone had any opinions or advice on this one!
Chronic tension/ dizziness?
I get dizzy sometimes and it is always when I have an anxiety attack...in between those I am fine. I know what you mean about the Dr's and tests...I had MRI and EKG, etc...everythings fine except this stupid anxiety pops up every now and then with heart pals (the last few days this has been happening) then yesterday I got the flash thing on the left side of my eye...I haven't had that in years..lasted about 15 minutes then went away as quick as it came!
I talk calcium when I get anxious, it seems to help a little at calming me down so I don't go all the way to panic!
At least you exercise...I went to a really good Dr. because of NO energy..she recommended testing Vit D when she did my yearly tests..found out I was very close to the bottom of the range..started Vid D and it helped...BUT, I start to exercise and then get afraid of having a heart attack or stroke...so I quit, even though I know I am healthy, just over weight and anxiety prone..how dumb, not exercising adds to the problem I know...
Hope you are feeling better today.

I get dizzy like that sometimes. Maybe it might be a tension neck headache that you're having? I've gotten those and they can cause a lot of dizziness.
Also, I've had a dizzy probelm before and it turned out that I had an inner ear problem. There was fluid in my ear. My dizziness wasn't accompainied by an anxiety attack or lack of breathe...I was just dizzy. Once I got my ear problem under control it went away.
ANd mmleota, I was nervous of exercising too! But if you don't do too much at first it's not so scary. If you start really slow it's not bad. Park somewhere pretty and go for a short walk, even if it's 5 minutes and you're close to your car. And bring your cell phone with you if that makes you feel better too. Once you do 5 minutes after a while, go to 10 minutes. You could even just walk around near your house, or bring someone you trust with you, so you'll feel even safer. Working out is scary at first, because you get the same sensations as an axiety attack, sometimes. But working out can really make you feel good, once you get used to it. : )
I hope this helped a little.

Anxiousk...I think you have fluid behind your eardrums, or an inner ear infection!!! My mother had this, and when you turn your head it makes you more dizzy...
My mother actually had it sooo bad that she could not even lie down...
She went to the doctor and they sent her to have a MRI done, and everything turned out fine...
They gave her ear drops and an antibiotic and she was fine in no time flat!!!
I would definitely have my ears checked out, since, they definitely worsen the symptoms of anxiety~~~
I pray you have a great day!!! God Bless...
