Today I started my first session of the program. I think this is really going to help me. I've been OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE since I was 4 years old. My parents did everything they could to get me help, but back then they didn't have a diagnoses for OCD. I also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, clinical Depression, agoraphobia and fibromyalgia.
I am now 41 years young and Ive spent a great deal of my life going to doctor after doctor to get some help. I finally found a doctor who I really like and I am on medication, I went through some behavior therepy with this doc and it really helped until my marriage started falling apart then it was like everything my doc taught me just dissolved. I'm really excited about the future because I know this program is what I need to get my life back. The reason I didn't complete the therapy last time is that my husband didnt like the new me. I'm still with him and still a little angry because of the verbal abuse. But if he gives me any grief about this program he will just have to leave.

Hi there. Congrats on starting the program. It will help. I am on session 5 and there are crummy days but there are good days too! Good luck and I pray that your husband is understanding and supportive. God Bless

I think it is wonderful that you have taken the initiative to help yourself. I have just started the program myself.

Change is never easy, but when we change we always reach new levels of understanding. You can change your life!

Your husband is probalby very uncomfortable with the canges you are making because you are not the same person you were before. That can be upsetting for anyone, however if he could understand that this will only help your relationship it might help him.

Good luck!
