If its not anxiety its depression?
I've been through the program before and it really has made a difference. I've not had a panic attack in years, I can come and go and do whatever I want without fear. But now it is depression that is the issue. I feel like I am close to tears most of the time for no reason. My emotions are all over the place, I feel hopeless, fed up, bored pretty much all the time. I am scared of medication or I would take it. I have tried exercising which does nothing for me, the only high I get is the fact that I actually done, the exercising itself does nothing. Anyone else feel like this or able to offer any advice?
I know what you mean about if its not one its the other. For me I am going through the program for the first time now and one week I will feel totally up and the depressing thoughts are gone but my stress over things and my anxiety is up. Then the next week I feel all those scary pointless thoughts attacking me and no motivation thoughts of what is the point of life and more scary thoughts come to mind then I self talk positive and I feel like it passes but then there is the anxiety. So you are not alone and I too would like advice cuz I am as clueless as you are. Maybe we just obsess over our feeling too much I know i do.
Dj...Your way of thinking also causes the depression. The things you tell yourself!!!
Remember your brain has no choice to believe what you tell it, so, make sure you are telling it the things which make you feel better....
I begin my day with...This is going to be a good day...I thank God for this day...I am grateful to be alive today...I am grateful for all my family and friends...I am grateful for the health of all my loved ones...I am grateful for the sunshine...I am grateful for the birds...I am grateful for the beautiful flowers....There are soooo many things to be grateful for....The list just goes on and on...
It is also about your attitude toward life, and what is going on around you. What is your attitude right now??? What things do you want to change in your life???
Question yourself to death, and I am sure you will find the answers...Make sure to challenge those thoughts, and get up and do something when you find yourself bored...Get motivated....
I learned the hard way, in order to get motivated, you have to get up and take action...You may not feel like doing it, but, do it anyhow...This has always worked for me....

BTW...Every feeling begins with a thought...Change your thoughts and you will change your feelings...Also, you can see your glass as half full, or half empty...I choose to see mine as half full!!!
