Hi
Hi everyone hope all is well with everyone! I'm feeling pretty bad today got into a argument with my husband last night he thinks i'm not working hard enough against this anxiey/panic which I think I am he also told me just because your sick doesn't mean other people can't have bad days. I was leaning on him for support since i got out of the hospital 11 days ago and i was trying yesterday and that's what he told me maybe i'm selfish i just don't know where to turn i wanna run away this thing is taking it's toll on him and i was afraid of that maybe i should go back to the hospital for awhile or something i'd runaway but have nowhere to go. i'm so sad and now i truly feel alone. Thanks for Listening to me ramble...April
APRIL I'M NEW TO THIS. BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I'M HERE. HOPE WE CAN LEAN ON EACH OTHER ..WE NEED SOME ONE TO TALK TO. I CAN'T ADVISE YOU ON YOUR SITUATION. BUT I DO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND. MY KIDS CALL ME CRAZY. I NO LONGER TRY TO TELL THEM WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH.
AprilT...Honey, just please continue doing the program...I am sooo sorry that your hubby is frustrated with your recovery process, but, I am here to tell you that you are expecting way too much from yourself, way too fast!!!
I suffered from agoraphobia, panic attacks, accompanied by depression for 21 years of my life, and I am sure that my hubby became very frustrated with me over all those years!!!
Please try and not allow his frustrations to get to you...Just continue on the path you are taking, and be very kind, gentle, and patient with your self...
It takes time to overcome these things, so, please don't give up, or think you are not making progress, when I know that you are...
You cannot take this program and not make progress...Period...
Be kind and gentle with your own self...Know that your hubby doesn't understand panic attacks, and that is why he is sooo frustrated...
Do not measure yourself by his standards, but, measure yourself by the actions you are taking by using the program to completely recover...
We all have our good and bad days, and this is just a fact of life!!!
I am rooting for you, since, I know how difficult it is to suffer day in and day out, every day with the panic, anxiety and depression...
Please take my advice, since, I have been there and done that, and you are not alone!!!
Never-ever give up on you own self!!! I know that you can do this, and God knows that you can do this!!!
You are much stronger than you give yourself credit for!!!
Keep up the good work!!! I am rooting for you!!!
I pray you have a wonderful day, filled with sunshine, happiness and peace!!! God Bless..
