Sometimes I get the racing heart, blah.. blah.. blah...you know, all of the symptoms.

Other times, I just feel like there is a constant electric surge going through my body, in the absence of the fast heart rate, elevated BP, etc. It is hard to explain! I just feel like I have drank about 100 cups of coffee, but I don't drink caffeine! This feeling will last for days... hard to think, sleep, etc...

Anybody else feel constantly revved up, in the absence of any other symptoms? Please do share! This feeling has me worried something else might be going on. Checked my blood sugar at work this morning and it was 98, which is completely normal!

Yup. It's just the adrenaline surging through your body. Try not to read into it too much. As we all know, the more you think about body symptoms the more they stick around. Just accept that it is there and go about your daily activities with the feeling there. Don't let the body symptoms scare you (I know--I have had them all). For me it's the hyperventilation that I hate the most. If you accept that the feeling is going to be there for a little while, it will slowly die down and go away. This has worked for me many times in the past. You have to almost get angry at it and just face what you need to do. Believe me, I know how hard it is, and I have given into those feelings so many times before. I always ask myself "okay which direction do you want to go with this? You can either let it bring you down or you can face life with the symptoms there and just say the hell with the feelings!" My 9 year old daughter helps me push through a lot of it, because I don't want her to miss out on life because of me not wanting to leave the house because of those stupid symptoms. This is just how I talk to myself. I can totally understanding what you are saying. Try the accepting thing and see what happens. Take care!

I've had the electrical surge before. Now I have constant tingling and burning sensation. It's the anxiety. I know, it is so annoying. Like the previous message, don't focus on it too much. I notice when I do not focus on it because I am busy doing something, it goes away. Then I think about it and it come back.

Thanks bunches for your responses. I am just so tired of feeling shaky and trembly on the inside, in the absence of any other symptoms. It is a very lonely feeling; like you just want to jump out of your skin! Today was especially bad... I just want this "STUFF" to GO AWAY!

Best wishes to all of you... and big hugs for those that need/want them!
:)
