Hope7,

There really is hope. I have been in the deepest depression I have ever experienced for the past 8 months. It has continuously gotten worse and anxiety/panic attacks also became the norm for me. I have lost my income. I am close to losing my house. And, the bill collectors really don't care whether I am not feeling well or not!

A friend purchased the program for me several weeks ago. And, I am already seeing positive steps. Just this week, I have gotten to a job fair, sent out resumes, gotten out of bed and showered right away (most days.) This is a pretty major accomplishment for someone who wouldn't even contact employers over the web a couple of weeks ago!

So, I say, yes, even from the darkest depression, there is hope. By caring for ourselves, and finally putting our own healing first in our lives, we can find a way out.

I still don't know where my next mortgage or car payment is going to come from, but I am gaining speed and taking the steps to secure my place in this world. I am finally beginning to feel like I am worth it. This is such a new feeling for me, but I am starting to finally believe in the words. I've got a lng journey ahead of me, but I know I can do it now.

It's really up to you to take the steps you need to to care for yourself. Start now. Get the support you need, but do the inner work on you. Sometimes, it will be very hard. But each day and week can get better if you start to put yourself first in a positive way. Those days you can't get out of bed ... tell yourself that you can do it, and praise yourself for the accomplishment. Because on those tough days, that IS an accomplishment.

You CAN do this!!!

Hope7,

there really is hope. Im 23 years old, I have been dealing with really bad anxiety for like 2 years now. Just a year ago, I couln't drive, I couldnt work, I couldnt even relax due to my anxiety. I made many trips to the emergency room. It got to the point where I would just cry. I started reading this book called "the power of now", that book helped me a lot. I also subscribe to anxietycentre.com that is a GREAT resource. There they really explain everything. Reading that gave me a better understanding of my anxiety. Which then helped me deal with it. Its not easy, but I got to the point where there was no other way. Also, listening to Lucindas lessons helped too. There are bumps along the way, but you just got to remind yourself that is just anxiety, you'll be fine. I now go to work, I go out with friends...there are times when it my anxiety comes back, but I deal with it better. Keep pushing yourself and dont give in to it.

Hi Hope,

Henry that is great. You have made huges strides in such a short time. Fast read and good student :) Hope, take courage from Henry's advice and progress. That is great.

I like reading about successes little or small, because the key is that your focus is on the success. I wish more people would realize and be thankful for every step of their progress. It really helps all of us and encourages everybody.

Great news, so keep plugging away and work the program.
