i am am so frustrated because i used to get so excited about new info that is helpful like yoga or relaxation and now even if i see something that is great it just wont get me excited. i think i am so numb to myself. i am mad at myself because i feel i am so good at finding the info but do not put it to good use. i am either too busy or i give up. maybe it is a touch of depression. does anyone else feel like this? i am in a different place in life now... married four kids 2 jobs so things are a bit crazy but i want to be the old me (not the bad old me). i want to let things slide off my back and get excited about new things.

Hope I don't seem too preachy or critical of what I see happening in our culture. To me there is excitement overkill. It seems to me the culture wants to make us into excitement junkies. So activities such as yoga or meditation may well not fit the bill. I do both and other gym activities. Yoga is magical (in a calm way), as is meditation. You may want to learn the Sun Salutation, a sequence of 12 poses.

It may help to set aside a time for it, maybe get a video to learn some yoga poses, and then practice it to your favorite music.
