Hi everyone!

Lucinda is putting together a Question and Answer session...we do not know when this will be available-it will be announced.

Think in terms of when you started the program...what were your questions, your concerns. Think of the questions that came as you healed... Contribute as many as you wish to this folder/thread.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks for your help.

Carolyn

When i started this program, I finally had hope, for the first time in 30yrs. My question was how could it actually work for me and all the fears id ended up with over those years.
1. Could the lessons be where they fit my specific symptoms.
2. Was there a chance, that i could really get rid of my negative thinking?
3. And if i could? Would it last?
4. Were my expectations to high?

As I began to heal, it was scarey!
1. Practicing the skills such as breathing and relaxation, made a difference, but would and could i continue the practicing, even with the obessive thinking patterns id obtained?

2. Was I changing? Or was it just because i was doing the lessons?

3. I wondered if exercise and diet really played a part? (i soon found out, it sure did)

4. Growth spurts? Why they seemed to happen when i would be doing so well? and what did they mean?

These were just a few questions i had for myself as i started and starting healing....

mello pretty well covered it.//i truly wondered if this program could really help me as i somehow felt my problems were harder and "different". i later wondered if other areas of my life/self could be helped with this program. i often questioned if all the work was helping me. then i wondered if i could keep the program close to my thinking once i finished the program. well, i went by sheer faith and determination trying to get thru the program..thinking "IF i get just one good thing out of this program-it will be worth it". i reviewed tons as i forget so. i still want to stay close to the program with helps/reminders. but i can say=it has helped TREMENDOUSLY, in all areas which was a wonderful blessing. it comes all together eventually with practice and lesson by lesson eventually pulling it all together. P.S. think i should add..when something wasn't exactly dealing with what i needed to work on=i changed the words around to my own issue=similiar prnciples helped. for what its worth=the same principles helped me think on spiritual things in a healthier way--balancing them with good thinking thats beneficial.. would have saved me years of beating myself up.

Nello did cover alot of the basics.
Do you really get completely over it?
I am going thru a rough time right now and this question is really bothering me. I am using the skills and thank God for the program. Just really mad that it comes back.
Before you do anything, ask yourself..."How do you want to be remembered?"

My comments and questions are this....when I was listening to the program and reading the materials and watching the videos, I was excited someone knew how I felt and was describing me. That was encouraging and I was sure if it worked for her it would work for me! My question was would it work in the middle of a situation that I was terrified to enter and how would I know when I had obtained the skills to try? It was trial and error....I remember being pumped and going out and getting my butt kicked and running home to safety...but I was determined. I think it would help to be clear that you should always try but don't do things you haven't obtained the skills for yet. And reminders to PRACTICE!!!!!!
This program was a Godsend...I'm sure you've heard it thousands of times...just wanted to add my voice.
If you read these Lucinda...thanks. :)

Wow, I am so happy to participate in this, especially since I am currently is a growth spurt. I have done, I think pretty good with it. I have good and bad times, but have managed to avoid a panic attack. I've come close, but have, thank God, have not had that. The program has helped me so much and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

For me, I think my biggest question was about the scary obsessive thought patterns. I never had the scary obsessive thoughts about things that were out of my control (i.e. heart attack, flying, cancer, mugger, etc.). My thoughts were always of what if... I loose my mind, go crazy, flip out, hurt myself or someone else, doing something I don't want to do. I guess I wondered why some much turned in ward about myself? I think the self doubt makes it so much harder and I wondered more about that.

One last thing, I would be nice to know on the growth spurt tapes if anyone ever re-experiences the scary obsessive thinking pattern. Thanks.

Why does it cost so much?

How will I know if it will work?

Given that I've been through extensive therapy/meds. my whole life, why would this program be able to help me when nothing else could?

Why are therapists/mental health professionals unfamiliar and perhaps hesitant about the program? (I've never known any pro. who has heard of it)

Using the infomercial as a tool to reach people makes sense from a marketing standpoint, but I think it also makes people VERY hesitant to try it- kinda takes away it's validity. Why this method? Why not go straight to medical professionals? If it's to reach more people that makes sense, but still I think people are weary of buying anything off of tv.

There is no program for used or returned sets- why not? There should be some sort of trade-in type program for those less fortunate.

Why isn't the program available in libraries, schools, universities, etc? It would again help those less fortunate and be a resource to those in need.

If the program doesn't work for you, do you think there should be a money back guarantee (more than the 30 day trial?).

I agree with Trac and her questions or I guess, reassurance that she is asking about.
I went through the program once and Knew immediatley that it worked.
I went through a growth spurt this past summer and my biggest symptoms (OST's) came back. I wondered how many people felt these come back too.
I got through that and knew that as soon as stress hit, that is exaclty where I went. (obsessive Scary Thoughts, OST's).
Now I feel probably the best I've been. (I just found out yesterday that my grandfather has a cancerous tumor that he needs removed and it is a pretty serious thing considering he has congestive heart faliure and diabities) But without the help of the progran and my ability to trust myslef and know that We will all be ok and get through this and take one step at a time, I knew I was definielt better!!!
But what I did notice is the scary thoughts came back (but only for a second) Like what if I can't handle this and I lose control and hurt myself because I was scared.
Well that just went to show me that all it is is the fear of not being able to handle difficult things.
That is when my ost's came about,, It was a my fear of losing control!
But thanks to the program,,, I can do anything!!!
Sorry that was so long...
