We probably all have ways that we talk ourselves through an anxiety/panic attack. I just ordered the program and am looking forward to getting it and learning how to do this better.

Here is something I use to talk to myself during anxiety/panic. For any scifi buffs out there like me, it is something called The Litany Against Fear. It is part of the Dune series of novels by Frank Herbert. Anyway, it helps me sometimes....

"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that
brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over
me and through me.
And when it has gone past,
I will turn the inner eye to
see its path.
Where the fear has gone
there will be nothing.
Only I will remain."

Thanks NBGuy, just reading this made me feel better. I copied it to myself in an e-mail and will enter it in my journal I use with the course. I know it will help me through anxiety attacks.
