Throat Constriction?

Has anyone felt like their throat is constricted before? I will feel completely calm and happy and then all of a sudden my throat feels constricted and I can't seem to get enough air and it's even hard to talk. This will go on for hours. It used to happen years ago and it stopped and now it's back. But with it this time is a new symptom...I get REALLY dizzy and all of a sudden feel like I'm fading out of this world and going to pass out or something. It's really scary. I've floated with the throat constriction and tried to ignore it so it will go away. Does this happen to anyone else? It's scary.
