is it kind of like a roller coaster? like i will have a few great days and then a few horrible ones, ups and downs like a roller coaster. or is this just me, maybe i have symptoms of bi-polar? i dont know.

It's that way for me. I don't have bi-polar. What we have is a chemical imbalance, and one second we feel good, and the next we feel not so good.

Definately have good and bad days. I can go for even a few weeks doing great then I get hit with down days. I believe it is normal and as you work through it that you will have more good days than bad.

I hadn't thought of roller coaster, but the analogy applies to me.
I have anxiety and depression. I never know how each day will go.
My early days were down, way down. But I seemed to improve each night, and that gave me hope.
I've gotten better. The bad days are fewer. But there are still bad days.
Accepting the up and down nature of a/d is vital to getting better, IMO.
I'm much better at accepting anxiety than depression.
From what I've heard of bi-polar the highs and lows are EXTREME. Mine haven't been, so I can't offer any information.
