I have been feeling gittery for a week now and i cant get rid of it. This is a new symton for me. I went to the ER once and they did a ekg on me and blood work and found nothing. The only thing was my blood pressure was really high but that was because i was so nereveous and it went down after they gave me a ativan but i was just wondering if anyone every felt this for this long. I am so scared I cant stand it. Thanks and God Bless

Sure, I get this often as well and sometimes it can stay for many days. My last spell was about four weeks ago and lasted about eight days. For me, I just have to wait it out. It's happened to me many times before and I know it will always pass.

I know that it can't hurt me and just keep trying to go about my life the best I can. Obviously with anxiety, this isn't such an easy thing to do. But we can only do our best so put out as much effort as you can and be proud of your accomplishments, whatever they may be.

Always remember that when we are nervous and are experiencing anxiety that it feels like it will last forever but the truth is that these symptoms always pass. Most pass quickly and some take a longer, but eventually you'll feel better again.

My pleasure. I know it's hard, but try not to worry about it. It will pass in time and the less you think about it, the better off you'll be.

Take care,
