Hey everyone this is Ryan. I recentely just ordered the Combatting Stress and Depression Program program and was overwhelmed with all the information and CDs that were being presented. Just wondering if all this can really help, which I'm sure it will. Anyway, I listened to the Introduction video and book and just finished session one for the first time. I was just a little confused on whether to continue the next day or to just focus on each sessions week by week. Is that strategy suppose to make this program more successful? because I am willing to give it my all in order to get my life back in control like it used to be. I've heard nothing but great things from here and I'm hoping this program will change my life forever!! Any feedback is greatly appreciated... Thanks and God Bless

Welcome Ryan, I am also new to the program...bu you are a little more ahead than I.
If you have any questions I guess its good to ask the moderators (email them) they are located on top of the forums. Or you can give them a call and ask ....I would take it that what ever speed is most comfortable for your schedule and routine. Hope it helps....good luck to you, I am sure you will succeed. creamcheese

Hi Ryan,

Yes, when you first start the program, it can feel SO overwhelming because it's loaded with so much information. I think all I did was cry through cd 1,ahaha take one step at a time, that is key. No skipping around. Think of it like sitting down to eat, you're not going to stress out over all the meals you're going to eat this month, you're just going to focus on what's in front of you.

Give it time to sink in. Spend more time with the cds if need be, I know one week wasn't enough for me.

It's a wonderful program and has covered WAY more than my anxiety specialized therapist ever has. But that being said, the amount of success you will see comes down to how hard you work with it. And that of course is the hardest part! There's still areas I struggle with but that's not the program's fault. It definitely has made a big difference in my life and I'm sure it will in yours too!
