on a new symptom that I have been having that is rather disturbing....
My mind is constantly running (mind chatter) especially when I am by myself - which is a better portion of the day, as I work full-time from home.
When someone comes home (my family)- the mind still chatters - but I can have a conversation with someone and what is coming out of my mouth is not what is going on in the head. I feel as though I am going absolutely mad....
Can anyone shed some light
Totally common Sue! It's like your thoughts are going 100 miles an hr! You could be sitting in front of the tv, and it appears that ur watching it, but really your just starring at it, cuz ur mind is just going and going! Yeah I've dealt with that symptom too. Turn the negs into positives, and if you have the program listen to ur relaxation cd while u are working if you can. Good luck!!
Sue60504,
This is a symptom we all can relate to for certain. I try meditating, I used to be profecient, but gave it up long ago and regret it today. I am trying to get myself back on track because it greatly helps. If you are having trouble try using guided meditation cd's and/or natural sound cd's just to help give your mind something to focus on while you are trying to relax and eventually it will come.
Another thing I used to do when I began to meditate was, in the evenings I would light a candle in a dark room and just stare ant it, focus on the flame, breathe slowly and even repeat a positive mantra, again to help the brain focus and slow down. I hope this is helpful.
