This is definately my number one "what if" of my anxiety problem. I get scared I'm gonna pass out if I'm alone while going out for a nice walk and nobody will find me? I know that sounds rediculous and won't happen because I know I'm in good health, but it still freaks me out! This was very incouraging post though i must say

You can challenge your "scary thought of fainting" by gathering evidence that does not support this fear!!!

Make sure to examine your fear of fainting to see if it is logical and really true!!!

Make sure to choose the rational thought of "not fainting" over the irrational thought of fainting!!! You do this by examining all the evidence that supports your "rational thought" which is not fainting!!!

Ask yourself these questions!!

What are the odds of me fainting?
Have I ever fainted before?
What is the evidence that I won't faint?

Answer these questions beginning with the word "The facts"...such as, The facts are that the odds of me fainting are------Do this with all three questions!!!

Make sure to gather all the facts plus evidence before predicting that "you will faint"....

A notebook would be a great place to write these things in...This helps you to gain a new perspective of what is "highly unlikely to happen" verses what you think could happen!!!

Remember, just because we think a thought does not make it a fact!!!

Do you remember in school when we collected evidence to support our data??? I think this one works extremely well in the "fear of fainting" as well as, all of our other fears!!!

I pray you use this technique to overcome your fear of fainting...God Bless...

One of the most uncomfortable feelings I have with Panic Attacks is the the feeling I am going to faint and the fuzzy headedness. I just started the program and am hopeful that this program will help me to never have that feeling again.
