I've been off my anxiety medication for one month now. I had been on medication for six years and the program gave me the strength and hope that I could get off. The first week was really hard physically. I still get anxiety but it doesn't scare me as much as it used to- I know that it always passes. :)

Hi Theresa, I am very happy for you. I predict you will find MORE inner strength! I to have had successes in the month. I have done things that I had avoided for almost 2 yr. God Bless You. :)

I'm really happy for you that the program has helped you this much. I stopped any meds I was taking when I began the program (11 months ago) and it took a while to get used to dealing with anxiety without the meds but it was well worth it. I have not returned to the medication in 11 months now and am so happy I stuck with it. What you said about still getting the anxiety but that it doesn't scare you much anymore is the "key". Congratulations.

I can't even begin to express the amount of admiration I have for you. I have been on my meds for almost 7 years and although it is my biggest dream to get off of them, it is the scariest thought I can imagine.

You are an inspiration to me.

Please keep me posted on how you're feeling, will you?

Also, please feel free to PM me any time if you need support.

Congratulations Theresa on a huge accomplishment!!

I stopped my meds just over 6 months ago now and don't regret it at all.

You must be doing a wonderfull, commited job working the program and I wish you all the best as you move forward to a new and joyous YOU.

Just keep believing in yourself and the program and soon you will be victorious.

Best wishes :)
