And on the drive home I heard Lucinda's voice coming out of my car radio. Huh?? It was a commercial for StressCenter and a free CD or something. Kind of weird to hear her on the radio. Anyone else hear these commercials?
Went to a festival by myself and then Lucinda's voice
I just have to tell people that I did something fun and kind of anxiety provoking tonight. I went to a outdoor festival all by myself because I wanted to see the musical entertainment. It was Gary Lewis and the Playboys from the 60's. They were a bit before my time, but I do remember their music and I really wanted to do something outside tonight. It was a gorgeous day today and I hadn't made any plans for tonight. So I called a friend but no answer, SO I WENT BY MYSELF! Had a nice time. Felt a bit self conscious at times and worried I'd run into someone I knew and would have to say I was there solo. But "it's no big deal" right? LOL! I did find myself all "tight" and arms crossed as I sat there watching them perform. But that's my normal mode anymore.
So, all in all I was happy I went. And I just KNEW I'd be down and feeling bad if I didn't go. Just wanted to share.

Wow that's awesome that you did that, I hope to be able to go watch some bands or music groups someday, and I would like to be able to do it comfortably by myself or with someone. Going alone to something like that is a huge step, even if you felt self-concious at times you did it and made it through it with everything being okay!
