life is good - and it's a long post!

LOL!!!!!!!!!! You can run electricity thru your toilet if you want, but I wouldn't suggest it ! LOL !!!!!!

Have some fun tomorrow for me ! I'll be slugging it out at work. 5 more days until the weekend ! LOL

i'll be outside in the sunshine doing yard work! i'm so happy about it too - can you tell? LOL

it's still very warm here - 86 degrees today. tonight is warm. mama and i took one of the dogs to the river walk this afternoon and there were a couple of red leaves on a few trees. it's not been could enough yet for the leaves to do anything but turn brown and it's almost november.

it's been a happy weekend here. life is good.

It may be 86 degrees there, but it's 45 degrees here ! I raked up some leaves today, but I have to go and get yard waste bags for all of the leaves. My front and back yards are about the size of a postage stamp, but I still get about 11 or 12 yard waste bags full of leaves. There's a ton of trees in this area and most of them are real old.

Did you get your toilet fixed ?????

Work for me was a real learning experience. A person that's in charge decided to treat me the way you were (or still are) treated. By the time I left work for the day, I felt spaced out. Some nights I didn't even remember driving home. I would get told off for things I didn't even do ! About 99% of the crap that got flung my way either had nothing to do with me or it was stuff I did right and they didn't understand it ! I've never had to explain myself more than I did this past week. A few times I was ready to throw in the towel. But then I sat back and said to myself that they aren't going to win. I can more than rise above the stink of that garbage. It's been one of those weeks that if I didn't have to work a few hours tomorrow, then work on my bathroom, I'd probably go to bed tonight, pull the covers over my head and set my alarm for Monday. I'm that tired.

How are things going with you ?

i more than understand the wanting to crawl under the covers, pull them over your head and just stay there. i have absolutely NO idea, not a clue why people do those things other than the fact that they CAN. someone - to include themselves - allows them to treat others with no respect. being treated that way sucks like a straw. you have my full empathy and support!

i particulary like/love/LOATHE trying to explain something to "those people" and have them turn and walk away not even bothering to hear me. that's always a nice touch don't you think?

i used to come home and cry - i think i told you that? my sister even likened me to a battered wife. it's gotten better - for now - but i'm laying so low it's almost scary. talk about flying under the radar. and yes my good friends are still on alert to keep me laying low and to not draw any attention to myself.

i asked a neighbor who's a plumber to fix my toilet. he will whenever i call. i've just not made it a priority. the one off my bedroom works fine and that's good enough for me.

i'm going to see a scary movie tonight - paranormal activity 2 - with a friend. since i don't do scary movies this should be hysterically funny!!! LOL take the song "that's what friends are for" and insert "that's what valium is for" LOL x forever

i worked outside along my driveway this morning clearing the weeds and all away from the stairway to my rooftop porch. i took a friend up there the other night - hadn't been up there in too long. i'd almost forgotten how nice it is sitting up there under the stars. i even dragged a couple of chairs up there - white plastic adorondik - i don't have a clue how to spell that word LOLOL the best part of them is they are light and don't look tacky. i do love hiding on the roof. in fact, i recommend it. the tree limbs and lattice work on the railing keep me totally hidden from the "real" world. i prefer my world. well i do!!!!! LOL x forever

i'll let you know how the movie is. the worst part of going is i'm missing the auburn/ole miss game. choices!!!!!

i went furniture shopping with a friend then to dinner. we didn't go to the movie. instead rearranged furniture at her house LOL i missed trick or treat. shhhh don't tell - i didn't even buy candy. so my house was dark and whenever the doorbell rang i'm sure the dogs barking made kids run fast and far!

how was work today? i hope better?

thank you for thanking me LOL honey i only tell you the truth. and i do try to say what i mean. you're a man of value who certainly deserves better treatment in your work place.

I ended up getting about 100 trick or treaters last night. It helped me get my mind off of work. Wotk was actually good today ! No one bothered me and I was left alone to do my work. I'm looking forward to next weekend when time goes back an hour. One extra hour of sleep LOL

Now that Halloween is over and Canada had Thanksgiving in October, the next holiday is Christmas. It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas here ! There's no snow now, but it went down to 32 last night and on Thursday we're expecting snow ! Get out the snow shovels and the crazy drivers. LOL

Karma ! - How was the work week ? For me, if I hear my name barked one more time, I'm going to hit the roof. Remember you talking about being beat like a dog ? Well, that was me this week. Tonight, I'm going to go to bed, pull the covers over my head and stay there until the spring ! I'm tired of all of the garbage that goes on...all of the unfairness. I know, it's all a part of life. I just wish life was a bit more fair.

I'm back to working on my bathroom this weekend. That always helps me get my mind off of the real world for a while.

Hope all is going good for you, if not...I FULLY understand ! LOL
