Well....I made my lunch for tomorrow at work. I hope I only have to go in on Monday. I made plans for Tuesday. IF they need me another day, it will have to be Wednesday, but I hope not. I'm not feeling panicky about going into work, I think it's just that I don't really want to go. I'd rather have all of this week off. I know...I know....I should be grateful just to have a job these days. So many people are out of work right now. Maybe that's the way I need to look at this. .......that doesn't stop me from wanting this week off though...LOL

Time for me to relax now.

i'm so glad you're not feeling anything about tomorrow except wanting not to go in - how great is that? i'm so sorry - but that makes you NORMAL lol

i'm having a good time being off. today was dog walking day. i got so hot on the river walk during the first walk. then took the second walk on the natural trail - where i froze. there's never any sunshine there so it stays damp. but both walks were good - the dogs have such a good time.

mama came over late afternoon and we watched one of my favorite movies - body of lies. i made a big fire and we just kicked back.

macy's has ads about after christmas sales so we're headed there tomorrow. the best part of that is i don't care one way or the other. i love the fact i can think about going places now without anything but pleasure or indifference.

i feel good. i'm happy.

tomorrow remember to party like a rock star!

Life certainly is good!
And today is a beautiful day for me. Itis my 81st birthday!
I woke up feeling very well indeed.
No aches and pains to speak of and my troubles seem very few.
My God is certainly gracious to me!!

Wishing every one contentment in the New Year ahead!!

Hey Karma !

Work went smoooooooooooooooooooooooooth today !
No problems to report at all ! ....even the bosses were all smiling !!! I am now done until January 4th. I'm glad I went in today. Only about half of the people showed up. I did like you said...I partied like a rock star !

As for your weather.......you got hot on the river walk ????? I just got finished shovelling snow ! I'm c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-cold ! LOL It's supposed to stop in a little while, then sunny all day tomorrow. The sun must know it's my first day off ! LOL

Time to kick back and get in relax mode.

i am so glad you went in to work today. you took any ick you'd have felt the next week AWAY wondering and what if-ing. yayyyyy for you!!!!!

i went to the mall wih mama. the only things i bought - and i had to because it was such a super sale - were a couple tubes of vanilla body lotion at the bath shop. i looked at stuff but jus wasn't in the mood to spend money i don't have.

i had no problems getting there or being there. i was happily indifferent. or indifferently happy. whichever LOL

i went to the library a bit ago and checked out some more movies. i'm still trying to get into the book i got last week - it's a tight fit LOLOL

i've never shoveled snow although i have lived where it snowed and got so incredibly cold - kansas. with that almost constant wind blowing across the plains, the windchill factors would be below zero.

i am incredibly happy that you made yourself a wonderful life this past month. do you have any idea what YOU accomplished for yourself? probably LOL

i was reading a post - maybe more than one - where someone wrote about this program not working for them. thinking about it now, i'm wondering if they gave themselves a chance to work on change? it's the person AND the program that enables change.

Hey Karma !

Don't worry about the money situation. We are all in the same boat. Money is tight all over the place. I've learned to coupon clip, write down where the money goes and how much and it's all a pain in the ***. But this past year, it was necessary.

I didn't have to shovel snow today !!!! Today was the first day this vacation where I sat in front of the TV and truly relaxed. I put the phone on "mute" and I made the whole day about me. I'm getting stuff ready for New Year's Eve. I'm heading out to the county and spending it with family this year. Mom and Dad won't be there, but I'll call them at midnight.....they may yell because they'll be sound asleep ! LOL Maybe it would be a better idea to say it in the afternoon sometime ! LOL

Is the book called It's a Tight Fit ?????? LOLOLOL Do I reeeeeealy want to know what it's about ?!?!?!?!?! LOLOLOL

I think that it's a safe bet to say that we both made it thru 2009 in one piece. We made some great changes and we're going into 2010 with a new outlook. I'm actually looking forward to it ! I wrote down my New Year's Resolutions and I plan on sticking with it. I'm going to do the program over again (starting with week 2 or 3 in the new year (as a refesher course).

nooooooooo lol the book is called "first lady" by michael malone. he wrote one of my all time favorite books "handling sin" - laugh out loud until you cry books!!!! this one is different though - a murder mystery. i tried again to get into it this afternoon and fell asleep. i think i give up on it!

i'm so glad you relaxed today - just took the day for you and you alone. how great did that feel?

i don't make new year's resolutions. i don't know that i ever did? i do make resolutions almost every day though. things like i won't take this or that personally. i will be happy today. i will be kind today. things like that. after a while, i've found, those things come to mind without much thought. after all, it is the way i prefer to live my life.

one of my favorite things the dalia lama said was "my religion is really very simple - my religion is kindness." that's what i strive to be - kind.

i just watched the movie - eternal sunshine of the spotless mind - and i don't understand why it made the top 10 or 50 or whatever movies of the decade. maybe i am that uncool? last night i watched gone baby gone again. i like the moral dilemma at the end of the movie.

i hope you have a great time with your family. mama and i will be ringing in the new year together - with a big fire but no fireworks. i don't know if my brother or his children will show up. if so, great - if not, mama and i will have a fun time anyway.
