because i SO hate not knowing what anyone wants at work - i've starting asking. i SO know that feeling of wondering and questioning what is going on - what are you thinking - what do you want me to do - the list goes on and on and on. i make myself nuts second guessing what i perceive someone may or not want/expect of me.
i actually ruined - yes ruined - a vacation day before thanksgiving worrying about the what if's of should i have worked.
bottom line - ask - either by phone or email. if they do want you there, you'll earn points with the boss by being a "team" player LOL if they don't need you there - you will HEAR it and can remain worry free!
i either have some stomach bug that's going around or have a bit of fluid on my inner ear making me dizzy. i almost threw up in wal-mart about an hour ago. i would have been one of those stories people recount over and over the years - that lady who threw her guts up in cosmetics right before christmas LOL
i'm in for the night. i went to the library this afternoon and checked out 4 movies and a book. now if i throw up i can entertain/horrify the dogs.
think about contacting your boss?

Acknowledging Your Growth
Foundations of Evolution
Since personal evolution is most often a slow and gradual process, it can be difficult to recognize the scope of the changes taking place in our lives. Yet it is important that we regularly acknowledge our ongoing growth and reward ourselves for the many wonderful feats of self-improvement we have accomplished. When we intentionally contemplate our progress, we need never feel that we are languishing between past achievements and the realization of future goals. If we look closely at our lives, we may see that much of what brings us pleasure in the present is representative of the ambitions of our past that we worked so hard to attain. At one time, the abundance we enjoy currently likely seemed like a far-off dream. Now it is simply reality—a reality we created through our diligence, passion, and unflagging determination. Whether our progress is fast or slow, we deserve to congratulate ourselves for our successes.
To remind yourself of the insights you have gained with time, temporarily adopt an outsider’s perspective and carefully consider how your life in the present differs from the range of experiences you lived through in the past. Creating a written list, in a journal or otherwise, of those strengths, aptitudes, and inner qualities you now attribute to yourself can help you accept that you are not the same person you were one year ago, five years ago, or 10 years ago. Your attitudes, opinions, and values were likely markedly different, and these differences can be ascribed to your willingness to accept that you still have much to learn. If you have difficulty giving yourself credit for these changes, think about the goals you realized, the lives you touched, the wisdom you acquired, and the level of enlightenment you attained over the past years.
Recognizing growth is neither boastful nor immodest. Evolution is a natural fact of life and becomes a potent motivational force when celebrated. Knowing that you are brighter, stronger, and more grounded than you once were, you can look forward to the changes to come. In acknowledging your growth, you build a sturdy foundation upon which you can continue to blossom well into the future.

I'm doing a cut and paste of your last post and copying it into Word so I can print it out. That was a good read. .....and true.
I've decided to go into work Monday morning. If there's nothing to do, then I'll leave at noon. This way, they know that I can be counted on LOL. (Sorry, didn't mean to laugh LOL...oops. There it goes again ! LOL). When I get there, they may ask what I'm doing there....and I may answer back with "I'm wondering that myself!" LOL. I figure that they'll know I made an attempt to be a "team player" as you say LOL
I know I'm off from noon today, Thurs, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so by then the worry should be gone ! LOL
I get inner ear infections quite a bit. I've been that way since childhood. I feel like I'm on an amusement park ride when it kicks in ! NOW when the ear infection happens with a panic attack.......oh boy, what fun !
As embarrassing as it would be to throw-up in Wal-Mart, I think that it would've stopped the shoppers in their tracks ! LOL You can laugh about it now ! LOL I am ! LOLOLOL
I got to truly relax last night. My favourite Christmas movie was on. " A Christmas Story" ...I love that movie. I make sure to see it every year. Now I can celebrate Christmas ! LOL

a christmas story is based on a compilation of short stories from jean shepherd's book "wanda hickey's night of golden memories." it is one of the funniest books ever - i promise! it is laugh out loud funny. i never tire of reading it. and i've had the book for about 105 years now!
i'm still a bit sick on my stomach but i did eat a grilled cheese sandwich. it's going to rain yet again tonight - and tomorrow - and christmas day. that's why i think my inner ear has fluid on it - so much damp. the river looks like the mississippi!
i think it's a perfect ideo to go in monday morning. yes, it shows/proved you are a team player! with a positive attitude at that. it's win-win for you!
when i went to check out my dvds and book from the library i had a $13 and change fine - from last january. i felt like such a criminal LOL

oh that's just great.....now I want a grilled cheese sandwich LOL
I will search for the book. If it's half as funny as the movie, it will be worth it.
When they scolded you about the fine, didn't it feel like you were back in elementry school again ? LOL
We're supposed to get freezing rain for Christmas Day. I'm sorry...I'm still picturing the Alabama drivers in the snow LOLOL

Hey Karma !
That was from their last comic strip. I have most of the Calvin and Hobbes books put away somewhere. I need to find them. That was the only comic strip I collected.
I spent Christmas with the family and will be spending it with the rest of the family today. I had to do some running around yesterday (there are a few stores open here Christmas Day.) The stores that were open were crazy with the people in it. I breathed my way thru 2 panic attacks. I hope no one noticed ! LOL
The same thing happened Christmas Eve day. I had a few panic attacks then too. I didn't end up going to the mall though. I will tackle that during the week. (Not Monday though. I need to go to work ! yuck! LOL.......it's time and a half on Monday, so I'm not going to complain.)
Hope this holiday is stress-free for you and your mom ! The holiday season has just begun.................

about christmas here - on a positive note - nobody was killed LOL we had a good time and shared a lot of laughter and love. i took about 200 pictures. i make the kids nuts - their mantra becomes no more pictures blah blah blah - and i take pictures of hands over faces to threaten them with on facebook HA
mama came over this afternoon and we did a big fire. tonight we watched the british movie "calendar girls". i'd seen it years ago and thought she'd like it - she did.
so you've had some panic attacks? normal holiday stress. too many things going on at the same times. trust me, nobody noticed your breathing your way through your anxiety. know why? people are too focused on themselves to notice anything. what do you do to distract yourself? i know you breathe, but do you have a cell to call people for help - and to annoy them? i do. why suffer alone? LOLOL at one point, when i'd call a really good friend, her first question was "is anything wrong"? LOL she'd become so accustomed to being a life-line. and i'll tell you right now, she never begrudged a single call. she'd second that if she was sitting here LOL
i've probably written about this before but i'll resay it. one the way to work one morning i called my sister in an attempt to forestall a panic attack. i was fighting tooth and nail to keep it at bay. then i told my sister - @#$#@!@# (swearing LOL) i'm going with it - i don't care if it kills me @#@$@#@#@#@ (more swearing LOL) she said OH NO and i did it anyway. guess what? when i just GAVE IN and let go of the tension and fighting, it was gone.
does that mean i can do it every time? no. but it means IT CAN BE DONE. yet so many times, i forget to just let it pass through me. and i hang on to the tension and all that jazz like the proverbial pit bull. since i have a part pit bull, it's ok for me to use him as an example LOL
i didn't walk either dog today and i have paid for it. price of not walking pony - half a loaf of bread and a tin of homemade cookies. price of not walking keeper: one of my favorite chintz pillows.
i hope the rest of your weekend is nothing but fun, fun and did i mention, fun?
