I've been on a couple of anti-depressants that made me balloon up. I'm not faithful in exercise, or even getting out of the house, but when I am active, I do feel better. There's so may excuses- the heat, the baby. But years ago I used to run a little and that felt wonderful. It's like all the stress in my muscles just melted away.
I've very slowly lost over 50 lbs since the baby came 2 years ago. I feel a lot better about myself.

I absolutely have lost weight and have kept the depression from overwhelming me when I've used my treadmill. I walk now, since it is nice outside in the mornings, but I do use exercise for when I'm getting that "crazed" feeling. Mine is feeling like I'm going to explode, but I feel like the exercise is getting my blood pressure and feelings under control. I lost about 12 pounds when I was using it regularly. It's a good idea to make a time to do it so you keep up with it and start out slowly so you don't get sore and keep yourself from continuing. Good luck. I'm sure you'll be happy with the results. -J
I don't mean to hijack this thread but I just had to comment on how so very cute Bev's baby is. What an adorable little thing she is! Looking at the picture I just want to squeeze her cause she's so darned cute! Oh, I do have a comment related to the thread. I've heard that 10 minutes on a mini trampoline is as good as 30 minutes on a treadmill. Does anyone know if this is true? I just bought a mini trampoline to save wear and tear on my joints, and I really work up a good sweat on this.
