I took a yoga class!
Hi all, I took a flow yoga class last night and I have to say in all honesty, that it was the most relaxed I had been in a month since my OCD episode started. I still only slept 5 1/2 hours last night with Seroquel (i used to sleep 8) but I am learning to function on less sleep and I certainly plan on taking another flow yoga class. The instructor even covered me up with a blanket at the end and I just lied there in dim lighting with soothing music.
Congrads. One thing i do positivly agree on is excercise, the more you do the better you feel. I was working on an oil/gas drilling rig, fell and had to have surgery. While on the job I had noticed most likely do to the extreme physical work my symtoms went down, I was also boxing at the time. After my injury and sitting around I noticed things became worse causing great distress, I am back in the boxing gym, but need a rigourous work out and do to another ankle surgery soon, will have to take another break. Not saying you have to box, yoga is great, i also strongly recommend cardio boxing or cardio kickboxing, it wears you out. keep it up you'll notice changes.
