“Summmer time…when the livin’ is easy,” so goes the song. For many of us it is a bit easier, our schedules may not be as rigid, it stays light longer, there are more opportunities to get outside and socialize. How about a game of Horseshoes?! “The way to really enjoy this game is to play with people of All ages. Kids and grandparents can have just as much fun as adults, maybe even more…a great thing about horseshoes is that it flies in the face of convention by teaching the concept that almost does count, that even though the object is to get a ringer, getting closer to the stake than your opponent is good enough. You don’t have to score every time to be good at this game. Just keep pitching horseshoes and your share of ringer will come to you eventually.” (from How to Be Happier Day by Day, author, Alan Epstein, Ph.D.)

Come to think of it-a pretty good life lesson, keep pitchin’ you’re bound to get your share of ringers.

Sorry folks...I couldn't resist - I know I'm way toooo serious - can someone help me with that. (I can't wait for the picture of me in a tank of water and people throwing baseballs at that thing that makes me fall in the water.)

Steven, just wanted you to know, I've ran the various sections here on the forums and this one thread has received more views (7,312 so far) in it than any other one in history (that I've found yet..still one more section to go through) for the forums.

I tip my hat to you!
