A FIRE!!! I'm not sure thats a good idea at all.What-if the chimney hasn't been cleaned and it catches fire?What-if I get burned putting wood on the fire?This doesn't sound safe to me.

Oh! There's a knock at the door...it must be the neighborhood Christmas Carolers making their rounds. They are always here exactly at this time and I can hear them humming.

On the other hand, it could be an axe murderer just waiting for us to open the door and snatch us away into the cold winter night.

Stay as far away from the door as possible. But, wait, did I lock it? I am sure I did, but I'm scared to go look...what to do, what to do?!?!

Well so far I haven't been able to secure a lodge for us. Iam thinking Aspen since I am too scared to leave Colorado. Then there's also Shifras place she lives on the side of a mountain with tons of acreage?! Then again Aspen is very nice this time of year. The odds of avalanches are slim for now and since it's not too cold theres little chance of hypothermia if we play our cards right. I am not sure if the Bears are hybernating yet so I will have to check and make sure they are secured and tucked away in their lil caves or abodes. Oh shoot I forgot about Deer and Moose? Don't want any attacks from Bullwinkle or Bambi's Father?!
We will still need to have someone in charge of the archery and late night hot tubbing....any takers :p

Jill, Sure I'm ready to go either place. I don't think you want me in charge of the archery. I might give someone a heart attack or at least heart palpitations so how about the hot tub??? OMG, "what if" I drown someone??

I just came across this in the forums and why am I not surprised Jilly started this thread you are all hillarious thank you for the winter picnic, oh yes and should I bring hand sanatizer we would not want to get germs would we oh ya and well I am at it you will have to wait for me please because I am to afraid to fly what if I get stuck in the plane and I want to get off or what if I have to go to the washroom in the airplane oh man those germ lol. Sorry I had to add to this it was too much fun thank girls you rock
